What is an ADT Feed?

An ADT feed is an admission, discharge, transfer feed from a facility such as a Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility or Dialysis Center. This type of connection is a one-way push of information from a facility to HybridChart. The push of this information is triggered based on clinician name or National Provider Identifier (NPI). Most often, the facility pushes the patient information when a specified clinician is attached to the patient in the hospital’s EMR as either the admitting or consulting provider.
