The billing functions are seamlessly integrated as well, mirroring the menu of charges and billing codes within athenahealth. Charges entered by physicians flow into athenahealth, eliminating duplicate efforts and potential human error. Lastly, because appointments are incorporated as part of the integration solution, patient discharge planning is facilitated and enhanced.
