Mobile Charge Capture Solution Will Help Improve Rounding Physician Experience and Efficiency

Together, the companies will work to link athenahealth’s growing network of more than 75,000 health care providers with the capabilities of HybridChart to save time, improve revenue and profitability, and help improve patient outcomes and readmission rates for hospital-rounding physicians.

The integration consists of four powerful components. The patient search feature allows physicians to search for and add patients to HybridChart. Once a patient is added, the provider has real-time access to clinical data including patient demographics, ICD10 codes, allergies, appointments, and medications. The billing functions are seamlessly integrated as well, mirroring the menu of charges and billing codes within athenahealth. Charges entered by physicians flow into athenahealth, eliminating duplicate efforts and potential human error. Lastly, because appointments are incorporated as part of the integration solution, patient discharge planning is facilitated and enhanced.
HybridChart makes the hospital rounding and charge capture process more efficient and streamlined, saving physicians and their staff countless hours in time each year, and allowing practices to focus more hours on delivering high quality patient care.
